Adidas wanted to launch a whole line of basketball gear for women under the “Ace” collection, named after WNBA icon, Candace Parker.

THE Insight
Pro basketball is defined by the NBA. So people expect the WNBA to play like the NBA. What if we flipped that conversation?

THE Impact
The “Play Like Ace” campaign was loved so much by adidas it evolved from US-only to a  global initiative and debuted as a “60 global TV spot within the “Impossible Is Nothing” brand campaign, challenging the notion of gender equality in sport.
